AMD Strengthens Board with Key Appointments to Support Next Phase of Growth

Advanced Material Development Ltd (AMD) is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Hamilton and Dr Izabela Jurewicz to its Board of Directors.

These appointments mark a further step in strengthening AMD’s governance and strategic capability as the company continues to scale its proprietary technology platforms across healthcare, smart packaging and advanced manufacturing.

Andrew Hamilton has extensive experience in corporate law, intellectual property, investment banking and M&A and his expertise will support AMD in navigating complex commercial structures, licensing strategies and future growth opportunities. Andrew has worked with AMD in a consultative capacity since its inception and hence has a deep understanding of the AMD IP portfolio and its key customers.

As AMD’s Chief Scientific Officer, Dr Izabela Jurewicz brings over two decades of experience in advanced materials research, engineering and technology commercialisation. Her leadership has been instrumental in translating AMD’s core photonic and nanomaterial platforms into scalable, industry-ready solutions. Izabela will continue to integrate AMD’s work with academic partners but also will spearhead AMD’s move to set-up its long planned Advanced Engineering Centre, critical to the fast prototyping needed to accelerate the now well-funded business.
